bugger

i think i was one of five people to watch the oscars. i thought it was pretty good, although...i saw NONE of the movies that were featured in any category! i have fallen behind. although i think it is just that i would rather watch them at home.

i am totally watching some show about lake monsters. it is pretty interesting.

i finally watched SNL from this weekend. i love me some Tina Fey. i want to be her friend.

that is all i got.

OH, i lied. i got more! things i loved about the oscars:
i loved that the chick that won (with the dude) for best song got to come back and make a speech!
i thought this was the best dressed oscars in a while.
i liked that nicole kidman looked relatively human.
i loved, LOVED, javier bardem.

although i can't believe they left out some folks in the "died this year" section...that kind of bothered me a little.

and also, i am adding that i loved what tina fey said about hillary.

and NOW, i am done. i have to go watch more about lake monsters.

Comments

hooray for tina fey.
Lake Monsters!! What is that name of this? I MUST SEE IT!
About the only time I see movies in theatres is if I think the large screen will enhance the experience, so, while I can wait to watch Juno on DVD, movies like No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood required a visit to the local metroplex.
I'm glad you enjoyed them. Seems everyone else thought this years Oscars was one of the worst presentations ever. I understand John Stewart even had to cut of the band because they were trying to cut short someone's speech. What crap. Everyone is affraid people are going to say something off kilter. Who cares?! No one should be listening to stars blather on anyway. :)
