OH and WTF

WTF about that lady whose dad kept her in the basement for 24 years?!?!?!?! AND HAD 6 (7, but one died) KIDS WITH HER, WITHOUT HER MOTHER KNOWING?!?!?!?! Read the story, it is fascinating and horrifying at the same time.

this has totally knocked Austria off of my list of places to visit.

my new new computer has made me a posting fool.

omg yes! i heard about that on the news last night, what a sick sick old man..and EWWW they have CHILDREN together..that's so not right, and what drugs was her mother on that she didn't know?? where did she think her daughter was for 24 years?? i don't believe that she didn't know..

hey, you will hopefully know this, is Heroes still on Monday? or did it change to a different night? I am so off on network tv since the strike thing, I don't know which end is up..

Heroes won't be coming back until the Fall. NBC decided against airing new episodes in the Spring because they would have only been able to finish 3 in time before the end of May sweeps.

Sorry for interjecting. I just know a lot of current TV news.

This story is VERY bizarre. A co-worker and I had a conversation this evening about this.

Like seriously, after every suspicious event that occurred (ie. the daughter's disappearing letter, and ESPECIALLY the notes left with her ditched kids), how could she possibly NOT suspect anything unusual???
Either the mother was a complete and utter AIRHEAD in denial, or she must've found out about things after awhile...and her husband merely spared her by confessing things on his own. Who the hell knows?

The entire thing is rather disturbing nonetheless.
